Six Pieces |
These six pieces, (very singular pieces), are more than pawns on a chessboard. They are musical pieces; reflections and projections of the individual elements of The Enids. They are not self portraits, but rather, joint compositions in which the individuals have more than one view expressed about them in the compositions. Like the view of death, in one person's eyes, can be seen as the end and yet in another's seen as rebirth. Therefore these pieces are the melting pot of ideas, views, knowledge, love and companionship...
To ensure that all releases on Inner Sanctum Recordings are the definitive versions of The Enid’s albums, we have included extremely rare bonus tracks not featured on the original release - but still relevant to Six Pieces: Fool, Tito, 665 and Tallest Dwarf In The World (which was destined for Six Pieces but remained unfinished at the time) to ensure that more of The Enid’s work is available to their avid fans.
Keeping with the tradition of high-quality artwork and liner notes for all releases, we have commissioned an 8 page full colour booklet for Six Pieces. Compiling release information, writer details and original sleeve notes together with the original cover artwork, Six Pieces is an audio and visual fantasy for fans of The Enid.
